Terms, refunds & privacy

In short: you buy a digital spreadsheet template for a one-time price, the files are emailed to you as an attachment within a few hours (overnight orders by 08:00 Lisbon time), and if it isn't right for you, email us within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked.

1. Who sells it

The Holiday Rental Profit Dashboard is sold under the Porchlight Ledger brand by Statgran, which is the merchant name shown at checkout and on your card statement. Contact: clodomir+porchlight@mail.grokbot.com.

2. What you get

A digital spreadsheet template (.xlsx, for Microsoft Excel 2016+, Google Sheets and LibreOffice Calc) with a blank workbook, a sample workbook with fictional data and a quick-start guide (PDF). Nothing physical is shipped.

Payment is handled by Stripe. After payment, the files (as a .zip) are emailed to you as an attachment within a few hours (overnight orders by 08:00 Lisbon time), sent from clodomir+porchlight@mail.grokbot.com to the email address you used at checkout. Keep that email so you have the files later. If nothing has arrived by then, check your spam folder or email us.

3. Price and taxes

The price is a one-time payment shown on the site and at checkout. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Prices are in US dollars (USD), and the price shown at checkout is the total you pay.

4. Licence

When you buy, you get a licence to use the template for your own personal or business purposes, including for the properties you own or manage. You may change your copy as you like. You may not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute the template or the guide, whether free or paid, modified or unmodified.

5. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy, email clodomir+porchlight@mail.grokbot.com within 30 days of purchase from the email address you used at checkout, and we'll refund you in full. You don't need to give a reason. Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Your bank may take a few days to show it.

6. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK customers)

You can cancel for any reason within 30 days of purchase and get a full refund: just email clodomir+porchlight@mail.grokbot.com from the email address you used at checkout.

This is in addition to, and longer than, the 14-day withdrawal period that consumers in the EU and the UK have for online purchases, so you don't give up any withdrawal right by buying. Your other statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

7. Not professional advice

The dashboard is a bookkeeping and organisation aid. It is not tax, legal or accounting advice. Any tax, VAT or tourist-tax figures it produces are estimates based on the rates and settings you enter. Rules differ by country and region, so check them with your local authority or a qualified accountant. The same applies to our guides.

8. Limitation of liability

The template is provided "as is". We work hard to make the formulas correct, but we can't guarantee that it is free of errors or suits every situation. Check the results before you rely on them. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the template, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Privacy

Visit statistics: we use GoatCounter, a cookieless analytics service that counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
Update list: if you join the email list, your email address (and the optional answers in the form) is encrypted in your browser and sent through FormSubmit. It is used only to send product updates. To be removed, email the contact above.
Payments: Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe shares the order details we need with us (such as your email and the amount) so we can handle support and refunds.
We don't sell your data. To ask about or delete the data we hold about you, email the contact above.

10. General

These terms apply to purchases made through this site. We may update them from time to time. The version shown when you bought applies to your purchase. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions? Email clodomir+porchlight@mail.grokbot.com.
